Fivium achieves Cyber Essentials PLUS
Fivium Ltd, London - 7th February 2017 – We are extremely pleased to confirm that we have been assessed and certified for Cyber Essentials PLUS. The Cyber Essentials assessment tests an organisation’s ICT defences to ensure that there is a sensible baseline of organisational cyber security in place. To achieve certification of Cyber Essential PLUS, Fivium’s systems were tested, using a range of tools, by an external certifying body.
Talking about achieving Cyber Essentials PLUS certification, Fivium Director Anthony Ashton said “Given our work with the UK Public Sector and our ongoing commitment to our customers, we felt that it was imperative to go the step beyond Cyber Essentials to Cyber Essentials PLUS. We take our responsibilities for our customers, our systems and all data very seriously. Achieving this certification, I think, demonstrates both our commitment to our customers and our conscientious approach. I’m very pleased with the result.”
Public Sector customers can access Fivium’s high quality, great value products and services through a variety of frameworks, including Digital Outcomes and Specialists and G-Cloud.

About Cyber Essentials
Cyber attacks can cost organisations a large amount of money and cause lengthy periods of disruption. Cyber criminals don’t just attack banks and large companies - they target any organisation which isn’t properly protected.
The majority of cyber attacks exploit basic weaknesses in IT systems and software. Cyber Essentials shows you how to address those basics and prevent the most common attacks. The scheme is designed by Government to make it easy for organisations to protect themselves.
Cyber Essentials helps prevent the vast majority of cyber attacks. Having Cyber Essentials in place helps protect an organisation against common cyber threats. The badge also shows customers that you take the issue seriously.
